Information We Collect
Maya collects account information such as name, email address, password hash, profile details, workspace role, and authentication activity.
Maya stores workspace content you add, including wedding details, vendors, tasks, budgets, payments, guests, seating details, documents, notes, communications, calendar events, notifications, and related planning records.
Email, Calendar, and Documents
If you use Maya email features, Maya may receive and store email metadata, sender and recipient addresses, subject lines, message bodies, attachments, and vendor matching information.
If you connect or sync calendar information, Maya may store calendar connection details, event details, attendees, locations, timing, sync state, and related metadata.
Documents you upload are stored in private file storage and linked to your authenticated workspace records.
Billing Information
Maya uses Stripe to process payments and manage subscriptions. Maya stores Stripe customer, subscription, invoice, and billing status identifiers, but does not store complete card numbers.
How We Use Information
Maya uses information to provide the product, authenticate users, send transactional emails, support invitations, organize workspace data, process billing, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
Maya may use product usage and performance information to understand what is working, diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Service Providers
Maya relies on service providers for hosting, database, storage, email delivery, payment processing, DNS, analytics, and related infrastructure. Current infrastructure includes Vercel, Neon, Vercel Blob, Resend, Stripe, Cloudflare, and Google Workspace.
These providers process information as needed to operate Maya and are subject to their own terms, privacy practices, and security controls.
Sharing
Maya does not sell your personal information. Workspace information is shared with people you invite to the workspace according to their role and permissions.
Maya may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, to prevent abuse, to process payments, or to operate the product through service providers.
Security and Retention
Maya uses account authentication, private storage, access checks, and hosted infrastructure controls to protect workspace data. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Maya keeps information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and support legitimate business needs.
Your Choices
You can update account and workspace information in the product. Workspace owners can manage team access.
For deletion, export, privacy, or account questions, contact Maya through the support page or contact form.
